The General Things You Should Know To Calculate The Volume Of 1 Bag Of Cement Are,

Cement Mass Density: Cement Mass Density at Kg/m3 Density in KN/m3

Lime Mortar 1600-1840 Kg/m3 - 16-18 KN/m3

Ordinary Cement 1440 Kg/m3 - 14.4 KN/m3

PCC (Flat Cement Concrete) 2400 Kg/m3 - 24 KN/m3

Pitch 1010 Kg/m3 - 10.1 KN/m3

Crushed Sand Density: Specific density is 2,857 kg/m3 special area is 310 m2/kg.

1 bag = 50 kg of cement

1 m³ = 10³ liters

1 m³ = 35.3147 cubic feet

Let us see how we can calculate the volume of 1 cement bag using all the values mentioned above.

VOLUME OF CEMENT BAG IN METER CUBE (M³)

No of cement bags required in 1 m³ = Weight of cement in 1 m³/ weight of cement in one bag

Weight of cement in 1 m³ =  Ordinary Cement =  1440 Kg/m3 - 14.4 KN/m3

Therefore, Number of cement bags required in 1 m³ = 1440/50 = 28.80 No’s – 29 bags

∴ Volume of one cement bag = 1/28.8 = 0.034722 m³

VOLUME OF CEMENT BAG IN CUBIC FEET (CFT)

Since, 1 m³ = 35.3147 cubic feet = 28.80 No. of bags

Therefore, Volume of one cement bag = 35.3147/28.80 = 1.226 CFT (cubic feet)

VOLUME OF CEMENT BAG IN LITRES

Since, 1 M³ = 10³ Liters

Volume of one cement bag = 0.0347 m³ = 0.034722 x 10³ = 34.4722 litres

Therefore, Volume of one cement bag = 34.4722 litres
