Package Handing Over Taking Over Certificate | Completion, Taking Over and the Taking Over Certificate in Construction
This certificate
shall be issued on completion of snags identified within the agreed cut-off date
except for the non-repairable ones This certificate is for the purpose of
establishing the start date of DLP
What is DLP?
Defect Liability Period means a period
of 1 year from the certified date of virtual completion issued by the
Consultant/Engineer-in-charge and accepted by the Employer. Defect Liability
Period means the defect liability period as specified in the Contract.
This is to Certify that the following plant/ works/ systems, section (s) or item(s) are able to
perform in accordance with the requirement as defined in the Contract documents
and have achieved the Substantial Completion of construction.
The plant/system is
now being handed over to the Client, who will from now on take responsibility
for security, insurance, operation, and routine maintenance unless stated
otherwise in Contract documents.
