In this article, we explained how to prepare a BOQ Of Glazed Door, BOQ of Flush door with/without view panel, BOQ of Solid Flush Doors, BOQ of Double Leaf Single Swing Flush door, BOQ of Automation Mechanism Sliding door and BOQ of Fire rated door 

Doors - General Note:

1. The item should read as providing and fixing single/double shutter door with construction, framework, finishes, hardware, architrave, and iron monger all inclusive.

2. Cost of laminate (1.5mm thick)/veneer mentioned is the maximum cost. It should be inclusive of all materials, taxes, transportation to site, storage, loading-unloading, and all taxes, Octroi, duties as applicable.

3. Cost should be inclusive of pre-finished door jamb/ frame as per drawing / specification, profile to the full width of the partition thickness made from either veneer wood or rough wood wrap with veneer / laminate with all edges sealed with matching wood

4. All doors shall be approved based on the final shop drawing submission. Provision of Schlage lock to be considered for all the doors.

5. The rate for doors to include shutter, finishes, all hardware like exposed / concealed door closer or floor spring, locks, hinges 4 nos., vision panel (if applicable), door stopper, kick plate (if applicable) etc. all as per drawings. Each door shutter to be inclusive of fire / acoustic seal at bottom & sides.

6. All the hardware for the doors to be as per the manufacturer’s recommendation for the size and application of the door. Patches and floor spring to be as per manufacturers specs. for the type, size, and location of door.

All the hardware used shall be _______ make. The vendor should submit hardware schedule which is compatible with height, width, thickness, and weight of the doors. All fittings should be finished in SS except for the fire rated doors.

The above-mentioned Quantity is indicative, and actual measurement shall be taken by the successful vendor and order should be placed accordingly for production.

 

 

 

How to prepare BOQ for Glazed door?

BOQ Of Glazed Door 

OPTION-1: Providing and Fixing Fully Glazed patch fitting door of size 1500 x 2400 (Main entry) using 12mm thk toughened glass with Patch fittings, 1200 mm high tubular handle, Floor Spring as per approval. Hardware Make - _________

Same specs as above but size 1000x2400mm - ______ room

 

OPTION-2: Single leaf Glass door - Without stile

Opening Size: D_ - 900 x 2400mm (________ room)

Opening Size: D_ - 750 x 2400mm (________ room)

Supply & Fixing of Double Leaf Glass door. Door frame formed out of Standard Sections as per Manufacturers Specification. Complete as per details and instructions of the Architect.

Shutter: Providing & fixing glass door formed out of 10mm thick toughened Glass -__________________. The glass shutter should be polished on the edges. The shutter should be mounted over top & bottom patch fitting with floor lock patch.

Hardware’s to be used

Door Closure: GEZE - TS 3000/ Assabloy - YDC 3025/Dorma -  TS 92

Note - Door When opened should lock @ 90 deg.

Door Hinges: Geze / Dorma/Assabloy

Handle: SS 'D' Handle 600mm height

Note:

Tolerance of Door from Floor should be Maximum 6mm

Hinges - 4 Nos of SS butt hinges

Lock set: Dorma mortise lock

Door Closer: Surface mounted door closer DORSOT DC - 80 ext. (H)

OPTION-2: Double leaf Glass door - Without stale

a) D_ Opening size: 3500mm X 2400mm

b) Opening Size: D_ - 3500 x 2400mm (Collapsible) (Hand wash area)

Supply & Fixing of Double Leaf Glass door. Door frame formed out of Standard Sections as per Manufacturers Specification. Complete as per details and instructions of the Architect.

Shutter: Providing & fixing glass door formed out of 10mm thick toughened Glass_____________. The glass shutter should be polished on the edges. The shutter should be mounted over top & bottom patch fitting with floor lock patch. (Rates including tracker etc.,)

Providing and Fixing Fully opaque flush door with/without view panel with anodized aluminum profile as door frames as per approval. Size 1000x2400mm. Finish: Laminate. Door Hardware - Ball Bearing hinges, lever handle with mortise lock set, exposed door closer. Make - _________

Same specs as above but size 1500x2400m

Same specs as above but size 900x2400m

 

BOQ of Solid Flush Doors

Door opening shall be formed by 100x62.5mm Beechwood frame. Fabricating and fixing of 32mm Hollow core door finished with 1.5mm laminate on both sides.

BOQ of Double Leaf Single Swing Flush door

Frame section: 75mm X 100mm

Shutter: Fabricating & fixing Double leaf single swing flush door 35mm thick of approved make, finished with 1.5mm thick laminate of approved make & color on both sides. The shutter shall have 8mm thick Toughened glass 300x450mm vision panel. The shutter edges shall be lipped in 8mm thick approved timber beading melamine polished. The shutter shall have a aluminum louvers at bottom.

Hardware: Hinges, Handle Mortise lock, of approved make, one no floor mounted SS door stopper etc as per the approved makes & architects information.

Frame: Frame should be formed out of 50mm X 75mm approved beech wood melamine polished with 38mm wide x 12mm deep rebate.

Fixing of Frame: Frame should be fixed to masonry wall using M.S holdfast / for partitions using wooden screws with clear anti-termite treatment for the concealed portion frame.

Automation Mechanism Sliding door with Tracking top hung system as per the manufacturer spec.

Providing and Fixing Frameless Automation Mechanism Sliding door with Tracking top Hung System with toughened Laminated Glass (6mm toughened glass +1.2 mm PVB layer +6mm toughened Glass)

Hardware: Hinges, Handle Mortise lock, of HAFFLE make, one no floor mounted SS door stopper etc as per the approved makes & architects information.

Fixing of Frame: Frame should be fixed to masonry wall using M.S holdfast / for partitions using wooden screws with clear anti-termite treatment for the concealed portion frame.

Door is with Sliding mechanism and sliding Tracking top hung system arrangement covering POCKET DOOR made with 19mm marine ply covering 1mm Marino Laminate WITH PELMET COVERING. (Rates inclusive of Tracking arrangement etc complete)

BOQ of Fire rated door

Option-1: Providing and Fixing 2 hrs. Metal Fire rated door Size 1500x2400mm.  Door Hardware of Ball Bearing hinges, lever handle with mortise lock set, exposed door closer. Make - _________

Same specs as above but size 1200x2400mm

 

Option-2: Fire Door (1.05x2.4m)

Supplying and Fixing of 2 Hrs. Fire Rated Fire Door in Server room, AHU room and IT room  fire Door is "PROTECH /PROMT "with the specification of door lock , handle with fire rated norms and with smoke seal resist the passage of smoke and fire, the fire door is with Vision panel and door alarm arrangement.
