General Note to be mentioned in BOQ (Bill of quantity) in wall finishes: Providing and applying three coats of pre-approved brand ________ paint to walls, partitions etc. including surface preparation with two coats of putty, primer and sanding all complete. With the necessary drying periods for each coat.

How to prepare BOQ for POP Wall Finishes?

BOQ of POP Wall Finishes

Providing and applying Asian/JK /Birla Putty Plaster of Paris punning of average thickness 12mm to existing wall surfaces in true level and plumb complete as directed. The cost to include providing grooves at junctions wherever required as per the instructions of the Architect.

 

How to prepare BOQ for Wall Painting?

Applying 2/3 coats of putty in wall / ceiling to get a seamless and even finish for finishing with any kind of paint. Cost to include subsurface preparation.

Providing and applying punning up to 10-15 mm thick layer of super fine Plaster of Paris applied over selected existing plastered surface on walls and columns finished smooth, rate is inclusive of necessary surface preparation including all incidentals, along with making grooves of 6mm wide in the POP at the junction/end of walls or as directed, pattas, sills, etc. complete. The finished surface should be smooth and in perfect level to avoid unevenness and ready to take on paint.

Providing & applying Acrylic Emulsion Paint of approved shade and color in minimum two coats, including one coat of primer, preparation of surface, scrapping, sand papering, scaffolding etc. complete

Applying flat enamel grey /black paint on exposed GI AC Ducts, pipes, conduits, and cable trays etc, in exposed areas of ceiling. Ceiling area shall be measured and paid

Acrylic Emulsion Paint

Providing and applying ________ Acrylic Emulsion (Premium) paint finish to walls, blocked partitions, and plasterboard ceiling surfaces of approved shade, texture.

Existing wall surfaces to be prepare by scraping away any loose particles, dust, etc by washing and scrubbing and 1 coat of primer approved by manufacturer applied. The wall surfaces are then smoothened using putty approved by the manufacturers. Surfaces are then sandpapered to achieve a smooth finish and two or more coats of paint are applied as per manufacturer's specification.

Mode of measurement: Length & height of the Painted surface shall be measured for payment.
